Shakaland - Zulu Cultural Village - Eshowe - South Africa

Anyone who wants to have a closer look at the traditional way of life of the Zulus, should visit one of the Cultural Villages in the vicinity of Eshowe. The village of "Shakaland" was specially built as the scenery for the movie and the TV serial "Shaka Zulu". 

Shakaland - South Africa It represents the kraal of Senzangakhona, the father of the legendary Zulu King Shaka. For a small extra fee visitors can join a guided tour of the village and gain a good insight into the traditional tribal life of the Zulus and even taste their traditional beer. Shakaland does comprise a luxury hotel and a first-class restaurant.
