
Serendipity House, is a recently built, tastefully furnished home of Dr. Les and Barbara McBey. It is situated at the upper end of Champagne Valley, nestling against the foothills of the mighty Drakensberg (12,000ft. a.s.l.) close to Champagne Castle Hotel and Monks Cowl Nature Reserve.

Each room has a queen-size bed, TV and large patio doors opening out onto your own spectacular star-studded night sky (if you prefer) and undisturbed day-time view of the valley. Sunrise and sunsets are magnificent and you will want to use your camera. Each of two rooms has an en-suite bath and separate shower. A tea and coffee facility is provided centrally as well as a fridge for any special drinks you may prefer. A full English breakfast is provided, either in the open plan kitchen or on the patio from where the beautiful view can be enjoyed. Added attractions which are situated on the property are a small trout dam (which offers the enthusiast the opportunity to catch his own supper), the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Display Centre, with its raptors and daily shows, and lastly, a starting point for a short pleasant walk, known as the Hadedah Trail. A full-size golf green and tee on the property, will be ready in the new year, for the enthusiast to hone his/her golfing skills.
