  • Self Drive day 1 - 2
    After picking up your rental vehicle and documentation pack, you'll set off from Johannesburg in an easterly direction, past Witbank and Middelburg, to Lydenburg.· From there, your route continues to Ohrigstad and the Blyde River Canyon, and your stop for the next two nights, Aventura Blydepoort.· Once ensconced in your two-bedroom chalet, why not take some time to discover what the area has to offer, including the famous Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and Pilgrim's Rest?· There are also numerous activities in the resort such as pony riding, swimming and Putt Putt (miniature golf).

  • Self Drive day 3 - 4
    On day three, you'll leave the Blyde River Canyon and set out for the wildlife areas of the lowveld, through Sabie and Hazyview, and on to your hotel bordering the Kruger National Park.· For two days, you'll have the opportunity to explore this phenomenal game reserve, either guided on an open safari vehicle or at leisure in your own car, or both.

    Your day starts off with a short flight from Durban to Port Elizabeth (not included), the northern gateway to the Garden Route.· Then it's off down the Garden Route towards Plettenberg Bay and your resort on the Keurbooms River.· The resort is a children's paradise with much to explore in the surrounding area, including Knysna - where you can take a cruise on the Knysna lagoon - and Monkeyland Nature Sanctuary.
