
The Easby Guesthouse is situated in Bergville in the Northern Drakensberg. The house itself is full of period furniture, and much time and love has been spent by its present owners, Chris and Grietjie Van Schalkwyk, is restoring it to its former glory. They are always available to keep you company and to entertain you with interesting stories about the history of Easby and the surrounding area.
Easby
occupies 300 acres of ground and offers a variety of activities. Nature trails,
horse riding, swimming, pool table and bar, table tennis are on site; day
excursions to historic places of interest, the magnificence splendour of the
Drakensberg (central and northern resorts are within 40 km drive), bushveld game
reserves, Spioenkop Dam and the Thukela Valley are within easy range.
