Horse Trails at Drakensberg Excursions

Although your horse ride can be customised to suite you, your basic options are a day trail - usually lasting about 4 hours or a 2 day trail - camping overnight in tents in the mountains - or over-nighting in a cottage on an adjacent farm and riding back the next day. The trails are guided by an experienced guide and horseman.

There are breathtaking views and all sorts of game - eland , reedbuck, bushbuck, duiker, jackal and wonderful bird life. We are sure you will enjoy your stay and the trails on our Appaloosa horses.

Drakensberg Excurions has a choice of a cozy cottage which sleeps 4, or a spacious cottage called the Lodge which can sleep up to 12. Both of which have have breathtaking views which are typical of the Kamberg valley.
