Dargavel Farm Lodge is situated on a working farm in the magnificent Kamberg valley. Dargavel Farm Lodge offers self catering accommodation at very affordable rates.
The
old farmhouse has been converted in a 3-bedroom self catering unit, with
its own garden and garage, and stunning views over the Kamberg.
A fireplace and an old wood stove in the kitchen add to Dargavel Farm Lodge
a real country atmosphere. The Lodge is comfortable, well equipped and fully
serviced daily. Antique furniture and family photos are part of the décor.
All bedrooms and both bathrooms have heaters for those chilly winter nights.
The Kamberg Valley is now part of the Ukhahlamba World Heritage Site and some stunning San Rock Art paintings can be seen only a few kilometres away from the Lodge. Other activities include walking, hiking and birding. Horse-riding, golfing and mountain-biking can also be arranged as well as fly-fishing clinics. Giants Castle and the Kamberg are often covered with snow in winter, so do not hesitate to book at Dargavel Farm Lodge for a unique experience.
