Your Guide to the Drakensberg and Natal Midlands

Currys Post

Currys Post is situated in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and although Currys post is a small place it makes for a great location to base yourself to visit the Midlands Meander. Currys post is near to everywhere while maintaining that very in the country feeling.

Curry's Post used to be a staging post on the infamous route between the port of Durban, the Kimberley diamond fields and the Johannesburg gold fields and as such saw a lot of traffic. Not only fortune- hunters and their entourages, but also troops and travellers. Barney Barnato, Cecil John Rhodes, Samuel Clements, Rudyard Kipling and Winston Churchill left their footprints in Curry's Post.
