Bingelela - Drakensberg breakaway near Bergville in the Northern Drakensberg

Always keen to innovate, hosts Joss & Paula have managed to create a stylish yet cosy venue in their old farmhouse for both intimate dining by candlelight and a fun night out with a crowd. Surrounded by huge trees with a view on the mountains, this is the perfect place for special occasions. Joss and Paula will treat you to their typical homely hospitality as if you were family visiting for the holidays. Joss still actively farms and will gladly share his experience with you.

Some three kilometers from Bergville on the R74 road (between Bergville & Harrismith), Bingelela is as centrally positioned as you can get. Three hours drive from both Johannesburg and Durban, there is no more ideal halfway restover than Bingelela.

Apart from the en-suite bathrooms, the chalets are equipped with a cosy fireplace and lounge suite for those romantic winter nights, coffee & tee facilities, bedside lamps, a small veranda and thatched roofs for that tranquil atmosphere. Up to four people can sleep in a chalet and you will find the accommodation prices very reasonable.
