Baviaanskloof, which is within easy reach of Port Elizabeth, Humansdorp and Jeffrey's Bay and ranks as one of South Africa's most spectacular and rewarding scenic drives, comprising four trails that can be linked together or undertaken separately. They are Tuinskloof, De Werf, Grootrivierpoort and Osseberg, each of which is close to the hamlet of Patensie. 

BaviaanskloofBaviaanskloof can be seen as a 4x4 trail but the roads are still travelable in a normal car. Baviaanskloof scores for its mixture of natural beauty and ruggedness, with the possibility of seeing wildlife ranging from tortoises to kudu along the way.
